Privacy Policy

Straightforward answers about what we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have over your information.

Effective May 15, 2026

The Short Version

  • We only collect what we need to quote your project, schedule delivery, and stay in touch.
  • We never sell your personal information.
  • You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time — just call or email.
  • We use industry-standard tools (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Cloudflare) for analytics, advertising, and spam protection — and you can opt out.

1. Information We Collect

We collect two kinds of information: what you give us directly, and what's collected automatically when you visit our site.

Information you provide

When you request a quote, send a message, or call us, you may share:

  • Name, email address, and phone number
  • Delivery or installation address
  • Preferred contact method (email, phone, or either)
  • Project details you share with us in the message field

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we collect basic technical information so we can keep the site working and understand how visitors use it:

  • IP address, approximate location, browser, and device type
  • Pages viewed, time on site, and the link that referred you here
  • Campaign and click identifiers from ad networks (for example, Google's gclid and Meta's fbclid)
  • Cookies and similar identifiers set by analytics and advertising partners

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your quote requests and questions
  • Schedule deliveries, installations, and shed moves
  • Send order updates and occasional marketing about products we think you'd like
  • Measure how well our advertising works and improve the site
  • Detect and prevent spam, abuse, and fraud
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Third-Party Services We Use

We rely on a handful of trusted vendors to operate this site and serve our customers. Each of these has their own privacy practices:

  • Google Analytics 4 & Google Ads — site analytics and conversion tracking. Google Privacy Policy.
  • Meta (Facebook) Pixel & Conversions API — to measure ad performance and reach similar audiences. Meta Privacy Policy.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — spam and bot protection on our forms. Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
  • Email and hosting providers — to deliver our website, store messages, and send transactional emails.
  • Rent-to-own financing partner — only if you choose to apply, and only the details you provide for that application.

These providers are contractually required to use your information only to provide services to us and to protect it appropriately.

4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Cookies are small files placed on your device by your browser. We use cookies and similar technologies (pixels, local storage) for site analytics, advertising attribution, and to remember preferences.

You can control cookies through your browser settings or by opting out directly:

Refusing cookies may break parts of the site (for example, forms protected by Cloudflare Turnstile).

5. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited situations:

  • Service providers who help us run our business (hosting, email, analytics, advertising, financing partner) — only as needed to perform their services.
  • Legal compliance — when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Quality Playscapes or others.
  • Business transfers — if our business is acquired or merged, your information may transfer as part of that transaction.

6. Your Privacy Rights

We're a Texas business serving Texas families. Whether or not a privacy law applies to your situation, you can always contact us to ask about, update, or delete what we have on file.

Texas residents (TDPSA)

Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (effective July 1, 2024), you have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we process your personal data and access it
  • Correct inaccurate personal data
  • Delete personal data we hold about you
  • Obtain a portable copy of your personal data
  • Opt out of targeted advertising or any sale of personal data (we don't sell, but you can still opt out of targeted advertising)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13. We'll verify your identity before responding and aim to reply within 45 days.

7. Children's Privacy

Although we build products kids love, this website is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in line with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us and we'll delete it promptly.

8. Data Retention & Security

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by tax, accounting, and consumer protection laws.

We protect your information with industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS), restricted internal access, and infrastructure provided by reputable cloud and hosting providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work hard to keep your information safe.

9. Do Not Track

Web browsers can send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no consistent industry standard for how to respond to DNT, our site currently does not change its behavior in response to those signals.

10. Links to Other Sites

Our site may link to third-party websites (financing applications, review platforms, social media). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, so please review their own privacy policies before sharing information.

11. SMS & Email Communications

When you give us your phone number or email, you consent to receive messages from us about your quote, your order, and occasional product updates. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in every email, or opt out of texts by replying STOP. Transactional messages about an active order may continue so we can complete delivery.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Effective" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we'll provide a more prominent notice. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
